Hji. Eufremio "Frem" N. Canaria, retired Education Program Supervisor and AAI Division Coordinator turned-over P 13,000.00 to PSDS Sam as voluntary donation of Albert Santoli, President of the Asia America Initiative. The cash donation was intended for the purchase of plastic water tank for Pasil Elementary School at the amount of P 7,000.00, P 4,000.00 for ISD water tank and P 2,000.00 for Bunot Elementary School water tank.
Before hand, Sir Frem also turned-over several packs of vegetable seedling in support for the Gulayan sa Paaralan of Kasambuhan Village Elementary, Timbangan Elementary School, Bunot Elementary School, Poblacion Elementary School, Mukammali Elementary School, and Pasil Elementary School. Seedlings include tomato, peachay, ampalaya, okra and sweet pepper.
Asia America Initiative has great support to implementation of Gulayan sa Paaralan of the aforementioned schools in partnership with Department of Agriculture under-Sulu the leadership of Ms. Mercia S. Alli. Involvement of the parents in making harvest fruitful was thoroughly encouraged in those schools. There are also other programs initiated by Albert Santoli in Indanan South District schools like health and nutrition, hygiene and textbooks supplies. The most lively AAI project was the implementation of school-based feeding program with counterparts of the parents of the school children.
Sir Moore released the cash amount to Sir Faisal A. Kadil. Head Teacher III of Pasil Elementary School and Ma'am Jurmainna H. Hunding, Head Teacher III of Bunot Elementary School. These two schools were last to receive funds for water tank. Many elementary schools in the district already receive big plastic water tank especially those having none water source but dependent in rain water.
